About me

Jessica Alejandra Ochoa is a UX/UI designer based in New Orleans. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Louisiana State University in 2012.

Since 2013, Jessica has worked as a set designer in the film industry, thriving in highly creative and collaborative environments with fast-paced production schedules and quick turnaround deadlines. She’s worked on films like Pitch Perfect, Where the Crawdads Sing, 65, AMC Mayfair Witches and more. This experience has strengthened her ability to manage complex projects and maintain exceptional attention to detail.

Her transition into UX/UI design was a natural evolution of her architectural background. She was drawn to the field because it closely aligns with the core design principles she developed in architecture—structure, intentionality, and user-centered thinking. Jessica especially enjoys the mapping process and crafting intuitive, seamless digital experiences that thoughtfully guide users from start to finish.

Ideally, Jessica envisions herself working in-house for a company where she can deeply understand its culture, operations, and brand identity. She is passionate about shaping how a company is portrayed and perceived by its users, ensuring that every digital interaction reflects its values with clarity and purpose.
